A day trip to Essaouira from Marrakech offers the opportunity to visit the city’s UNESCO World Heritage Site medina, ancient ramparts with views of the sea, museums, galleries, and enjoy local artisanal handicrafts, delicious seafood dishes, and stunning sunsets from rooftop bars. You will also have the chance to explore the city’s sandy beaches and listen to Gnawa music in cafes. The trip includes a free walk in the medina, a visit to a Jewish quarter, and the opportunity to relax on the beach. It is a great way to experience the beauty and culture of this unique Moroccan city.

Leaving The Red City behind we set a course for the coast until, after a journey of three hours, we arrive at Essaouira "The Pearl of the Atlantic."
Once in Essaouira, you'll have free time to admire its fortifications, the fishing port and the labyrinthian old town, where you can bask in the atmosphere and the day-to-day life of its inhabitants. The town too boasts a seemingly unending beach and it's recommended to try the delicious freshly caught fish and seafood.
The tour will then set off back to Marrakech, returning to the city in the late evening. And from this point onwards, you'll never again ask why celebrities such as Orson Welles and Jimi Hendrix fell in love with Essaouira.
